 Designer
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create 3-D models of packaged piping systems by following both a schematic flow diagram and bill of material.
  • Create / revise detailed drawings from 3-D models for production.
  • Check drawings created by others.Follow up with customer engineers for technical clarifications as necessary.
  • Liaison between manufacturing, engineering and CADD departments.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in piping and structural steel.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Skill to use a personal computer.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks CADD program.
  • Must have good communication skills to communicate with the team and clients.
  • General knowledge of custom fabricated industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of piping & structural steel design.
Credentials and Experience:
  • 3-5 years related experience or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.



Drafter
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create / revise detailed drawings from 3-D models for production.

  • Some 3-D modeling.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in piping and structural steel.
  • Run plots or copies of drawings, maintain drawing log books.

  • Must have good communication skills to communicate with the team and clients.
  • General knowledge of custom fabricated industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of piping & structural steel design.

Project Manager
 
Job Summary:
 
Manage projects for customers in the petrochemical, oil and gas, power generation and air separation markets, based upon the information provided from marketing team and customer specifications. Track and schedule all aspects of projects. Provide detailed information to engineering and manufacturing teams for successful completion of awarded project.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analysis of customer supplied information including drawings, specifications (mechanical, electrical, painting, welding, non-destructive testing, etc.).
  • Provide technical information for design & drafting to generate drawings.
  • Creation of inquiries to sub-suppliers for the purpose of component selection and or costing.
  • Follow up with customer engineers for technical clarifications as necessary.
  • Produce & schedule test requirements for manufactured equipment.
  • Track project cost estimates and all necessary technical data from start to completion of project.
  • Ability to run multiple projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • General knowledge of ANSI B31.3 and B31.1 piping standards and ASME.
  • General knowledge of API standards (including but not limited to API-614, API-610, API-611, API-617, API-619, API-676).
  • General knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, gears, compressors, motors, steam turbines, turbo-expanders, and generators.
  • General knowledge of ASTM structural steel material standards for shapes, plate, forgings, castings, bolting.
  • General knowledge of heat transfer, filtration, control valve application, instrumentation selection.
  • General knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code) and other international electrical codes such as IEC and CSA.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and sub-suppliers on a regular basis, both verbally and in writing. Must be good at multi-tasking, and running multiple projects at once.
Credentials and Experience:
  • BS in Engineering
  • 5 years related experience or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements:
  • Willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.
  • Minimal domestic and international travel for technical meetings at client’s facilities.
 

Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
 
Job Summary:

  • Purchase/expedite engineered components.
  • Follow up with customer engineers for technical clarifications as necessary.
  • Work with Project Manager to help track project cost estimates and all necessary technical data from start to completion of project.

Pipe Welder
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Tig / Mig welding of stainless steel pipe.
  • Work with little supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to pass a Tig / Mig weld test.
  • Ability to pass a x-ray test.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • General knowledge of custom fabricated industrial equipment.  
Credentials and Experience:
  • Experience driving a tow motor and using an over head crane. 
  • Your own tools will need to be provided.
 

Instrument Assembly / Tuber
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assembly of tubing for large skid machinery.
  • Installing instruments, valves and piping on large skid machinery.
  • Cleaning and prepping oil tanks.
  • Work with little supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Capable of working from general arrangement and P&ID drawings.
  • Ability to work with wide range of hand tools.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • General knowledge of custom fabricated industrial equipment.  
Credentials and Experience:
  • Experience driving a tow motor and using an over head crane. 
  • Your own tools will need to be provided. 
  • Welding skills a plus.
